Blackpool Information

Blackpool is a hugely popular tourist resort, and one of the busiest seaside towns in the North of England. At last count, approximately 140,000 people call the area home, and it is likely still the most densely populated town in the whole of Lancashire.

Blackpool has a rich history of tourism, thanks to the emergence of railways being built here in the mid-1840s. By the late 19th century, Blackpool’s iconic promenade, including pier facilities, fish and chips and more besides, was already taking shape. Since then, the population has grown, and millions of people make the pilgrimage here for casino fun and more besides. Why not take a trip out for yourself?
